I believe education is very important for each one of us, as it sets us up for a lifetime. My main reason for joining MFAL is their cause, where they provide essential education and the right support in the community, irrespective of their family's financial situation. I believe every child and adult has the right to education and being able to support this worthy cause and celebrate the success of children and adults is key to me. Mathematics is a fundamental part of human thought and logic, and essential in understanding the world and ourselves. It also provides an effective way of building mental discipline and encourages logical reasoning and mental rigor.
Coming from India and growing up there I was very fortunate to get the best education and had the freedom to choose the career I wanted to pursue. Math was my favourite subject, and it was no surprise that I chose Accounting. I am a strong advocate of having a good education as it also helps build confidence and resilience within an individual.
Personally, I am super excited to join this amazing cause. I am keen to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals who come through the MFAL programme. I believe in investing within our communities as these kids are the future pillars and assets of our society. I will be strongly advocating for businesses to provide their support and contribution to this valid and purposeful cause, to further accelerate helping to support more children and more adults so that they can also have the opportunities of a successful future.
